Keep your teeth sparkling clean

The teeth are an asset to any face. When we smile, it’s our teeth that catch the attention of the other person watching us. If our teeth are colored and not sparkling clean, we are bound to see a frown on the faces of those watching us as we open our mouths either to smile, laugh or put some food in. How each of us loves to have those sparkling pearly white teeth that we often see in advertisements.

Learn to care for your teeth to prevent the formation of plague that causes tooth decay and gum inflammation. Sugary foods cause plaque and it’s important to brush your teeth after every meal especially when you consume lots of sweets and chocolates. If you cannot brush after every meal then brush your teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once before you retire to bed. This will help prevent formation of plaque
. Systematic brushing helps remove particles that can be stuck to the teeth, while leaving them shiny and clean. Flossing is another way to dislodge any food particles stuck in-between the teeth. Other than using a tooth brush, you could apply some toothpaste on your finger to provide the massage that gums require. Healthy gums make for healthy teeth.

Simple home made beauty aids can go along way in keeping the teeth sparkling white. Did you know that rubbing your teeth with a bay leaf can leave them sparkling white? Try it out twice a week and see the difference. Another tip is to brush your teeth using some good old common salt at least once a week.
